Studio and Life

Last week, I started making mini mandalas for the #100DayProject.

My hope is to complete 100 of them, but being so small, there are only so many designs my brain can come up with. Each one is on a 3.5" square piece of bristol card stock.

Here are this week's mandalas:

This week I was also lucky enough have my niece and great nephew visit from North Carolina. I haven't seen them since Liam was born, so you can imagine how excited I was.

They arrived on Monday afternoon and I took them back to Orlando airport on Friday morning.

We had a couple family dinners, managed to get in some swimming in the pool.

Liam loved the pool!
We watched for dolphins in the Indian River...

Went to the beach for an afternoon...

We even got to see the Falcon Rocket that launched from Cape Canaveral (from my back yard.)
Sorry, no pictures of that because we got outside just in time and I was unprepared for class... no phone or camera.

For me, the best time was just hanging with my family and watching Liam play. He and Sully really got along well.

Tonight, Kirk arrives for his annual visit. I pick him up at 11:30 pm at the Melbourne Airport.

This week, I hope to catch up on a couple art classes that I neglected while Molly and Liam were here and also relax with Kirk.

Thank you, as always for following my art and life journeys.
